i'll add super mario, mayo, ware, kruger, and Woodley. we will see what offers he gets from other teams. I just don't think he is worth 8 mil per season for the first three seasons. It will be interesting. Like I said I predict we will be bidding against ourselves.

Mayo is an ILB.

What exactly makes Kruger and Woodley better? The stats don't support that.

Mario and ware used to be 3-4 olb so that is where I got that from. Woodley has had a better career. Kruger was a one year wonder but he deserves to be in the conversation. We will see what Rak gets offered.

Rak has stepped up his game these last couple of weeks. Now I'm wishing we can lock him up before seasons end.

I've been off the Rak train for most of the season... but Rak is starting to come alive. Locking him into 6-7m per year now seems like a joke. Still though, I'm glad there is someone beating life into this team.

well kerrigan had a nice game 1 sacks and a FF

bouncing over to kerrigan is a deflection Rak is healthy now and showing us what he can do

kerrigan is a fine olb as well

RAK is plain out balling. He has stepped up his game. Just disappointed that it took this long. I really hope it was due to injury recovery and not being a FA next year.

Back several weeks ago dad advocated Orakpo get the franchise tag. At 2.5 sacks and just a few tackles I thought this was nuts.

He is playing as good as his first year right now. I am all in for the franchise tag. I don't know why he all the sudden turned it on. Not sure if he is more comfortable, coaches put him in a better position to succeed or what, but whatever it he is on FIRE!!! I still favor the franchise tag to see him repeat this performance for another year.

i think he shook off some rust and i think we are a year late (injury ) from seeing what he could do

we need to give people time sometimes

Haslett isnt having him drop back in coverage nearly as much. I hope we can just sign him long term, as the franchise tag can be a slippery slope. Just ask Dallas about franchising Linebackers.

Count me as yet another of the non-believers with regards to Orakpo.

The franchise tag is a must - when he's on, he's great.

Now, about him sucking in coverage (still ALSO true, skinsdad)...
