If Tomas doesn't start hitting, I could see an eventual move of both Owings & Drury. Play Amed at SS, move Owings to 2nd, & then move Drury back to LF. We will see a drastic improvement defensively at both SS & 2nd while Drury should be relatively close in offensive production as, his defense probably won't be any worse that Tomas.

It's a net positive for the team.

This is why Ray is so frustrating. cruising along and on a 3-2 pitch to Aaron Hill, a dead fastball hitter, Hill is looking for one pitch, a fastball.............

so Ray just gives him.........a dead center cut fastball.

otherwise hes been great so far, but that is just so infuriating at the lack of knowledge in that spot

same ole same ole Robbie Ray. looks brilliant for 3 to 4 innings, then completely falls apart and unravels late

its the same god damn story with him. He did fairly ok tonight, but instead of finishing his start and getting out of that inning to give up 2 runs in 6 IP. That would impress someone, but nope

just more walks, and lets Posey crush a double for Giants to take the lead

I thought Ray pitched well. A lot more efficient. Of course the offense is the reason we are competing in this series.

Nice to see the pitching keep them from scoring. The 3 runs at the bottom of the 8th certainly helped.

1st series win in 2017. Nice to be above .500 both at home and on the season, quite a difference from last year where they dug a hole and jumped into it.
