Series Thread: Opening Round - Wild vs. Blues

In case you didn't notice (and judging by the threads, you didn't), the Wild and Blues opened their series last night and the Blues took game 1 in OT. Who had Joel Edmundson for the winner?

Lots of interesting story lines in this one - Mike Yeo looking to gain a measure of revenge against the team that cast him aside. Also, can babbling Bruce Boudreau exorcise his playoff demons from the past behind the Wild bench. Should be a close, tight series that I expect to go the distance.

And Borowiecki makes an outlet pass towards South America. Turris is gonna need a visa to receive that one. It's icing and there's nothing left but a vapor trail.

We're done. Blues in 4. The best team in Mild history won't even win a game in the playoffs. Dump Parise. Dump Suter. Blow the whole thing up and go into full on rebuild mode.

I would say the best team in Wild history was the 06-07 team that lost in five in the first round.

The Wild deserve everything they get for signing Parise and Suter and causing the last lockout and then their owner cried about it.

you'd think having 117 shots on goal would produce more than 4 god damn goals. Allen is looking like the best damn goalie in the league right now
