So timmy is averaging around 93mph on his fastballs. That's about 4-5mph faster than game one last year.

96 pitches for Kershaw. Gotta keep the deficit at one run.

Seriously these are old already

They've spent more time talking about Panda and the Dodgers' financial situation than anything else.

I think announcers are going to overestimate the effect of Panda's weight on his performance all year. For example, I think it's very likely Sandoval makes that great catch last year also. Had nothing at all to do with his weight.

I was thinking the same thing. So going forward anytime Pablo hits an infield single, legs out a triple, or makes an impressive catch were gonna have to hear "wouldnt have been able to do that 40 lbs ago"

I mean really? I am pretty sure they said he would not have been able to get on his tippy toes 40lbs ago... I know its a joke, but a dumb one

So what do we think about Timmeh's preformence tonight?

Had more zip on his fastball, his slider was nasty as was his changeup but he didn't have great command of hit.

Does anyone remember him throwing a curve tonight?

Real strong performance especially since his command of his best pitch was not very good. He threw the curve a couple times I believe, but I may be wrong

Four curve balls according to pitch f/x. FB topped out at 95+ - that's great for game one. I think he has regained most, if not all, of his lost velocity.
