It appears to be even more transmissible than delta and the jury is still out regarding the efficacy of the available vaccines. Have seen a couple times now that the nhlpa leadership is meeting teams (with canucks yesterday) and filling the players in about the covid protocols for the olympics and the players are gettin a little antsy about the whole “if you contract covid during the olympics youre stuck in china for 14 days” so we’ll see if players start opting out of that trip
