Um, I like JT Miller, but this projection seems a bit off.

They legit started the season with one centre how is this at all surprising lol

/most media people did say the Habs would fall back although most attributed it to no Price/Weber instead of saying no Price/Weber only added to the problem that they aren’t very good.

I often wonder why they sign people or call people up just to not play them.
Wonder how much of it with the "older" players is around the hope they get any level of injury. Then they can bury the player on LTIR to open up cap space? Granted his cap number was nothing but it is all numbers and any little bit helps.

Yeah I'm not sure on this one. If he was shit just mutually terminate his contract and let him go?

Which leads me to believe something along the lines of cap shenanigans that are beyond me.

Yes because the Blackhawks have done a bang-up job to date. Bettman needs to go.

That is just sad. Bettman is just a pile of human excrement at this point.

The next tweet from Rick was the one NHL executive making an excuse for Bettman.

Yeah we know he works for the owners but he is the "leader" and take an executive action for once.

Thinking like a lawyer, not a human. "If I help, they might view that as an admission of guilt"

Okay, owners. Set up a non-profit to offer counseling to hockey players who have experienced sexual assault. Everyone contributes, NHL can say that without interfering with the current situation with the Blackhawks, they are supporting victims. And if it's a third party, there won't be any control of it by the NHL teams who may be as guilty as the Hawks.

How hard was that?

My read from that is that came from one owner who's fed up with this shit and trying to put pressure on his fellow governors.

Or maybe I'm giving them too much credit to think at least one of these guys has a soul.

Just like the NFL with the concussion issues. Avoided at all costs until they couldn't anymore because they knew they were guilty.

As for the counseling, it isn't hard to set up something in the name of the NHL. Hell the freaking WWE even has a wellness program for wrestlers who haven't been with the company in years and in some cases never (IE...with another company that was purchased later by the WWE). They are a bastion of evil, and even they can do something right. Or at least on paper/PR make it seem like they are.

Good perspective. I took it as some other NHL meathead Exec was protecting Bettman. I am with you I hope at least one of them has a soul.
