I played a couple of games at the old Calgary Corral and I swear the boards at that rink were 5 feet high. I took a couple of nasty spills lol

/And the Corral is no more as they tore it down.

12 years and counting since the Flames have won a season opener lol - Oh well, the plus side is I liked the intensity I saw last night, Oilers capitalized on some fortunate bounces, but the biggest problem I see for the Flames is a lack of finish amongst the forwards. Gubberson wasn't awful last night either, but Smith outplayed Markstrom which is not good.
