That was a brutal hit. Should be a hefty suspension.

Should is the operative word, of course.

Checks video...Victim plays for Ottawa?

Tomorrow's headline: GUDAS TO ASSUME NEW ROLE AS DIRECTOR OF PLAYER SAFETY!

It would have been interesting to see what would have happened if Pronger was still on the Flyers' payroll. *wink*wink*

I think Gudas has been on the DOPeS radar for some time and likely will get the book thrown at him more due to timing than anything else...

/Or maybe not :noidea:

John Scott being the lead vote getter for the AllStar game is more proof fan voting for All Star Games is a joke.

I think this is funny. It would be interesting to see all the tough guys in the league play in the 3 on 3 tournament just to see what they would do.
I wouldn't mind just seeing John Scott make it and have to play against a trio of say Ovechkin, Malkin, and Karlsson.

I hate the skeevy prick, but credit where it's due - Patrick Kane is on fucking fire.

Agreed. He makes scoring chances out of nothing sometimes. He was dynamite last night.

He did get a power skating lesson from Karlsson last night though. :D

Oh, and if Erik Karlsson ever put int he back checking effort (or lack thereof) that Toews and Keith show on that OT play the entire hockey night in Canada crew would have a circle jerk on Saturday and then rail about his defensive shortcomings.

Senators coach Dave Cameron said he didn't catch any windburn from the race between Karlsson and Kane, but "my eyes watered."
