3 on 3 overtime is one of the best things the NHL has ever done, has made for some exciting hockey.

All of a sudden, the Flames are just four points back of the Oil.

Oilers lose the game and McDavid had two assists and the SN Oilers broadcast award him first star.

Stone just got robbed by a quick whistle (that puck was not frozen).

I'm a bit on the fence with the Hanzal trade. He's good on face-offs and won't be asked to be a top 2 center here, but that's a lot of picks for what looks like a rental. At least Arizona is eating some of his salary.

The good news is that the Wild didn't give up any of their top prospects (guys like Kunin, Greenway, Tuch, and Kaprizov) and I think it just further illustrates that scouts and GMs think this is a pretty weak draft class.

I know he's a bit of a fancy stats darling. Boudreau should be able to make pretty good use of him and like Dash said this draft isn't getting any execs particularly excited (of course that just might be because of how embarrassingly deep the past two classes were).

That is going to be something to watch for sure. This draft class is probably just a normal class, but since there have been so many absolute monster classes recently it looks weak by comparison.

Either way, Minny gave up waaaay to much for Hanzal, IMO. Hanzal's a solid player, but he has a lot to live up to.

Then again, when you look at the Wild, it could very well be now or never.
