I know on a disallowed high stick goal the line is your shoulders, but how much of the stick has to be above your shoulders for it to be disallowed?

Debating Zach Parisse's no goal in the Chiago Minnesota game at work. He had the blade of his stick above his shoulder when he shot the puck. But my coworker says it should have been allowed because the entire blade was not above his shoulder.

It's the point where the puck contacts the stick
And for a no goal, that is above the crossbar, not the shoulders.

LOL We were both arguing on the premise it was the shoulder. Being the goalposts just makes my side of the argument better.

Thanks

Wideman is a healthy scratch tonight
What are your thoughts on Micheal Stone, I haven't done too much research on him other then he was acquired Monday
On the note of Gudas, Philly better just keep him, I don't want another penality taker, last thing the Flames need

I thought Stone was okay tonight for a guy coming in to a new team, new system, and partnered with Bartkowski who was only playing his 2nd game with the Flames. It's just such a breath of fresh air not seeing that Clydesdale known as Dennis Wideman out there. Did you see the Ryan Leslie interview last night where he stated that more than one team is interested in Wideman? Geez, I'll take a bag of pucks and some hockey tape at this point.

Damn it!! I was hoping you'd accept Mark Borowiecki, but it sounds like you're holding out for a more valuable package.

Nah, no interest in Borowiecki, but I hear that people aren't happy about that play of that Karlsson kid, maybe he needs a change of scenery.
