Wow. That is crazy young...
Granted, poll results are significantly skewed by definition, as those still alive are not factored in.
But the difference is meaningful.

Scary about this is they only used NHL players, and it is that bad.
I guarantee that age is skewed even more if they factored in players that never made it above the AHL. The minor leagues and namely the lower minor leagues have had way more fighting/ more reckless players along with worse protection/medical care of the players.
