I guess you’re correct but giving up Vilardi Iafallo Kupari and a second rounder for one year of PLD and who knows what with Keumper can be seen as a bigger loss in the grand scheme of things.

No doubt, that trade stinks, don't know what Blake was thinking.

Also can’t wait for a double controller disconnect when both Pld and Ovi are on the ice together.

And Grier claimed Barclay Goodrow off of waivers and did the Rangers are a huge favor. WTF
W T F ?!?

Why didn’t he make the Rangers pay to dump that salary? This makes little sense

I’m assuming that Goodrow wouldn’t waive for SJ. But then look somewhere else. Or do a second trade were you get a second for an expiring contract or something

Goodrow is all of a sudden the Shark's 3rd highest paid player.
And has the longest term of all players
(other than Hertl's buyout)

Yeah, saw some takes on it. Vet with a little grit to help them reach the cap floor. Still would have liked to have gotten a pick with him but it’s not as bad as i had first thought

Plus free agents do not often sign in San Jose. Grier looking to fill out the roster without giving up too many assets

Should be an interesting off-season, hope it is interesting good and not listening in on your neighbors fight interesting

I'm happy/ok with the Markstrom trade. Our goaltending tandem is significantly better but also old. The odds of both guys making it through unscathed seems slim. I'm also not as enamored with Markstrom as most seem to be, he's wildly inconsistent and it wouldn't be shocking if he's meh next year.

With that said we didn't give up the 10th overall and the protected first will hopefully be well into the 20s.

I liked Bahl. 2 years ago he was far and away our best defenseman in the Rangers series. He's also one of the only guys we had with size and physicality. Far from irreplaceable but we do have to replace him.
