That's the part that really annoys me. It was public knowledge, and even if it wasn't for some reason, wouldn't a copy of the contract be transferred during the transaction? So Ottawa is being punished because Vegas doesn't read documents?1. OTT didn't discloved a LNTC when they traded Dadanov? Ok dipshits it was on freaking Cap Friendly we all can see that.
Love the game. Can't stand the league.

Also more than a bit ironic that the league is punishing Ottawa for failing to disclose an important detail about an asset under transaction that would have materially affected the value of said asset, while the NHL failed to disclose an important detail (or 2) about the state of an asset under transaction that would have materially affected the value of said asset.
Someone should go nuts with anti-trust laws...

I don't really understand it either. If I was trading for a player I would want my legal team to go through his contract before final approval was given. I mean who wouldn't?
Dorion is a first class dipshit but this should never have really been an issue. Like, in a well run league all this would have to be disclosed on the trade call with the league. It's all so stupid, starting with the main perpetrator.
I am perplexed how this can anyway be Ottawa’s fault?
proving once again..... ...........There's 650 million reasons why it's not the Knights fault.
Funny how both of their recent penalties have been based on making Vegas suffer in one way or another. Guess you don't fuck with the house. There's 650 million reasons why it's not the Knights fault.
It will be a glorious day when the slew foot is gone from the game.Well you knew it was only a matter of time...No penalty called either.

Wes McCauley lolRef right there looking at it...Does he think Liljegren went down of his own accord? Classic can-opener, I don't even think it was that much of a slew-foot, but certainly a penalty.
Marchand knew what he was doing. He hooked his left toe inside the ankle and pushed it forward enough to lighten it. Not a PK Subban level foul but...Ref right there looking at it...Does he think Liljegren went down of his own accord? Look at their roster - that is old school expansion level shit.Sharks:
The only teams to lose more consecutive games from the start of a season are the New York Rangers in 1943-44 and the Arizona Coyotes in 2017-2018 and 2021-2022. Those teams all lost 11 straight games to start their respective seasons.
going back to last season sharks have lost 34 of their last 39 games
