Buffalo, Montreal and Ottawa all getting these kids to long term deals that should be good value. They can all be forces in the Atlantic when TB/Boston/Toronto all lose their players to age and Arizona.

Not one of them has a goalie worth a shit though.

It is kinda fucking infuriating to look at all these deals for young players and then look at the deals the Leafs’ young players signed (which was immediately followed by a cap freeze).

Can like Dubas’ roster-building theories all you like but Jesus did he get shit all for value on any of these deals. The only one that was even kind of appetizing was Nylander’s and even that was more just market value for him at the time than anything else.

Maybe Wild fans and prominent beat writers need to stop feeding into the narrative the refs are out to get them and that’s why they are losing. Tweeting every missed call is getting old. The Wild are the definition of mediocre. Sure the ref watched Benn rip off a Wild players lid and head lock him but whatevs. The refs suck across the board and quite frankly so do the Wild.
