Scott said that he was offered trips, money and sorts of bribes to NOT play in the game. I didnt catch who offered him this but it sounds like it was NHL driven to keep him out. He was also traded and sent to the minors in hopes he could not go but as we all know he eventually did.

The 650 host mentioned that the trade was rumored to be NHL driven and controlled.

the hosts can not determine that the CBA agreement was affected as it was unprecedented at the time.

John Scott and Rory Fitzpatrick are the most exciting things to happen to the All Star Game in decades. They need things like that to happen to create actual interest. let the fans write in ANYONE they want on both sides. (or whatever division crap they have now)
