Everybody offensively is having the season of their lives.

Defence is still crummy but getting even replacement level goaltending is helping and would probably leave them with at least the three points to make up the gap with the WC teams had they gotten it earlier.

Looking forward to some deadline shopping!

I hate going down this road, but officiating has gotten to the point where we need to add a challenge flag or bring in some kind of review process for missed infractions.

I think a ex player review committee of the entire season should be created and refs should be fined

I don't think I can take the NHL seriously until they get a 2 point goal line. Why should a goal that bounces off a chubby unskilled players ass count as much as a beautiful shot from the face off circle?

Why would a Canadiens fan be trying to bend the rules in favor of Ovechkin? Trying to make all his PP goals 2 point goals?

The Ducks local broadcast has been preempted for women’s beach volleyball (which isn’t terrible in the grand scheme of things). Not sure how this affects the tank but Seattle scored a couple of minutes in so it must be working.

Ducks scored three power play goals in the same game for the first time in over five years. Still lost but that’s a pretty decent achievement for that bunch.

This is MVP type stuff.
Rarely does that award go to an 85 point player on a team that misses the playoffs, however.
