They catch a break though as Utah plays Nashville tonight in Music City and then have to travel to St. Louis to take on the Blues Tuesday night. I think the first tie-breaker is regulation wins so if Utah forces OT tomorrow night, even if the Blues win, if the Flames win their two games in regulation, both teams would finish with 96 points, but the Flames would have one more regulation win than St. Louis.
Of course, if the Wild decide to lose their final game to Anaheim, that would be fine as well
As great as it would be to make it, I think long term it will be a bigger learning experience to miss so close to the end of the year. They've been playing in game 7s for about 2 weeks and it will stick in their gut all summer if they fall short. They will work their asses off to be ready to not let it slip away next year. Provided Donnie can make some solid additions (Boeser, Bennet?) next year should be the beginning of a good run.

I actually liked the guy, thought we agreed on pretty much everything, then all of the sudden everything I said was met with rabid dog responses and trashing of everything I said I liked.
