The Blues play the Kings in LA tonight - This is a tough one, on the one hand, a Kings win helps the Flames out as far as the 2nd wildcard is concerned, but a Blues regulation win keep the Flames within three points of the Kings for 3rd place in the Pacific.

How about just no 3-point game tonight? is that too much to ask?

Kiss of death lol

C'mon Caps, you let Ottawa have a point, do us a solid and keep the Rangers from getting any. Take 'em down and we won't even be mad when Ovi beats the record against us.

Edit: Well, that's a good start.
Thanks for nothing, ya jackwagons

Didn’t he set the record for most HBP in a season with Les Expos? 50 maybe?
That was about the only way he could get on base.

Amazing in '79 for the Mets/Pirates he had just under 600 plate appearances and only struck out 14 times.
Even as the light hitter he was only hit into 8 double plays that season.

Nope it was Ron Hunt in 1971.

i am getting old

lol - It made me did some research on Tim Foli though and he was described as a free swinger and a guy who didn't like to take walks. That reminds me of Blue Jays shortshop Tony Fernandez who also liked to take his cuts and a reporter once asked him why he seemed to be so adverse to working the count and trying to draw more walks.

Tony looked the reporter in the eyes and replied, "You can't walk off an island"

Not surprised PullYourRV didn't. The Penguins tried a few times with him and not once did a team bite.

As for Vrana I was hoping the Penguins would have claimed him, but he didn't even make it that far up the standings.

And if ANY team actually claims Ryan Reaves, they deserve it.
