Macklin saving #4 for the OT winner, please please please.

Edit: Nope, Kaprizov with the OT winner.

I might be wrong but if thevSharks had won in OT the Flames would have controlled their destiny.

No, the Flames needed a Sharks regulation win and even with that, they would still require the Wild to lose one more game. As it stands, they need to win tonight, win on Friday against the Wild, have the Wild lose to Van on Saturday, and then beat the Sharks on Sunday. Easy peasy lol

So, after tonight's action, believe it or not, the Blues are still catchable. They currently have 93 points with 2 games left, if they go 1-1, the Flames would have to win out to get to 96 points. The Wild are at 93 points with 3 games left and play the Flames next on Friday night.

Not likely, but still a glimmer of hope.

Red Wings and Bruins are currently outside the playoffs. The last time that both missed in the same season?

If there was any doubt about who the cream is in the Central (there wasn’t), it was settled tonight.

If you're watching, the Great 8 gave the crowd what they wanted on the first shot of the game.

Adam Fanilliy just murdered Ryan Leonard in front of the net.

Then went down the ice and scored.

Tom Wilson just got 12 minutes in penalties for jawing at the ref over a clean hit.

The only thing that would have made that sequence any better is if I had pizza.
