Stemming off the Josh Gordon thread, thinking of guys who had one great or good season and lived off that season for years.

Ickey Woods. fantastic rookie season 15 rushing TDs and 1k+ rushing yards, averaged 5.3 yards a carry

Don Majkowski, aka Magic Man, led the NFL in passing yards, completions, attempts, 3rd in passing tds, second in MVP voting

Peyton Hillis, 3rd in the NFL in TDs, Madden Coverboy

Rashaan Salaam, 1k+, 10 TDs

Steve Beurerlein, led NFL in passing yards, 2nd in passing tds and qb rating

RG3, great rookie season, 3200 passing yards, 20 TDs and 5 picks

Lionel James aka Little Train, led the NFL in all purpose yards with 2500+ yards, 1k+ receiving, and almost 1k on kick returns, 500+ rushing yards too

you could probably find a bunch of Bronco RBs. (too lazy to do it)
For a minute there they seemed to switch their RB every year & get the same bad ass production.

here's more of a one-month wonder -

rookie QB Greg Cook led the Bengals to wins in their first 3 games in 1969, their 2nd season.
in week 4 vs KC, he was injured, and missed the next 3 weeks. After coming back, he was never quite the same. His injury wasn't properly diagnosed and didn't heal properly, most likely due to limitations in technology available at that time.
