I realize that the month isn't over for some teams, but it is for my team, so cry moar, beches.

But for the Braves, I really can't complain about a 16-11 opening month to the season. The offense is producing, for the most part, the starting pitching has given us a chance to win(none have really blown anyone away, but they generally go around 6 and give up around 3).

The bullpen blows. I don't know if I've ever seen an entire unit struggle with the free pass so much. It isn't just one guy. It's everyone in the pen. There are a couple of bright spots(Shane Carle, Dan Winkler), but as a whole, they drive me crazy. It seems they pitch around the walks most of the time, but they play with fire in nearly every game, and it has burned them a few times. Some of these guys I have seen pitch far better as recently as last season, so I'm hopeful some of them will get things turned around.

But this is the most exciting Braves team in a long time. Albies, Acuna, Swanson and Inciarte have been fun to watch this season. I love the aggression on the base paths, I love their work with the glove, and I love what they have done with the bat.

This is the first time that I can honestly say that I'm cautiously optimistic about this team and I think I can see the light at the end of the rebuilding tunnel.

What's in store the rest of the season? I don't know. I'm not thinking playoffs, but I think finishing .500 or a little better isn't out of the question.

But as for the month of April, I like what I see.

Like what I've seen from Boston and Toronto thus far. Be interesting to see if it continues.

"Please wait while I transfer your call."

(Or, how many phones are there in a dugout that you'd need to mark one of them?)

Pitching is finally coming around and offense has been solid most of the year . Should get 95 wins or so as long as health is relatively good.

My team, the Rangers, suck just as predicted. Pitching is horrible, infield is banged up, and outfield is a who's who of triple A stars.

The 1972 Rangers think this year's Rangers are bad.

Way too mediocre. Gonna be tough to finish lower than third in the division.

Rooting for another top pick.

The 2018 Detroit Tigers are going to have good days and bad days ... unfortunately they are going to have more bad days this year ... but you have to crack some eggs to make an omelette.

Jays young talent has impressed. Bats have been a big surprise. If we get a healthy Donaldson back we can compete for a wild card no doubt

Brewers sweep the bad teams and get swept by the good teams. It's been all or nothing for this squad.

Josh Hader is a beast. Love watching him pitch. He's rocking a 18.2 K/9 right now.

After a rough start, pretty satisfied

Lineup is gonna be as good as advertised

They will need another starter in the long run

As far as the Braves, that's the future of the NL East
