Yeah- I mean part of me is happy he ends up in New England because a good situation for him.. But at the same time it's the Patriots. I hope they don't teach him to cheat.

Harry is now dead to me.

Excited to see what the Broncos do tomorrow with their extra pick. I'm not wow'd after tonight but I'm also not disappointed. This team needs to build depth and grabbing extra picks is a good way to get that started.

I think the Raiders sucked at their draft, considering they had 3 picks to use or leverage. Could be wrong but if I were Raider fan, I'd be pissed. Of course, that makes me happy.

Jawaan Taylor falling out of Round 1
Clellen Ferrel #4 overall
DeAndre Baker falling to #30. I know it was rumored he was falling to late first ,but man that is good value for a great cover CB with great footwork.
Byron Murphy falling out of round 1


Things that did not surprised me
Greedy Williams falling out of rd 1
DK Metcall falling out of rd 1
1 CB going in Rd 1


The two players I said were the most overrated in the draft for the buzz they got on their stock Greedy Williams and DK Metcalf but fell out of rd 1.

DT will take Harry under his wing. Just be sure that DT isn't the driver on their way to camp in New England.

DT is gonna be a in major fight for a roster spot. Coming off that injury.

Look at the history of the Patriots. Many vet WR's go there and get cut.

Most recently Eric Decker.

Torry Holt ended his career being cut by Belicheat!

Seems like he likes to bring vet WR's in then they don't make it..
Not saying that will happen to DT, but it all depends on how he rehabs that injury.

I have had that feeling for awhile now that Denver would target Texas A&M OL Erik McCoy in round 2.

I am going McCoy with the assumption Risner goes with one of the first picks in rd 2. Maybe the first pick to Arizona. Major need there, but they could also grab Jawaan Taylor... Either one of those two. No clue why Taylor fell so far. Something is fishy with that. I though he was nearly a top 12 lock.

I've heard there are injury concerns with Taylor.

I was disappointed when we made the trade with Pittsburgh- but I had to remind myself that it’s not the end of the world and that I’m an outsider without any of the inside knowledge.

After thinking about it for awhile, if Detroit hadn’t taken Hockenson at 8, I probably would have been fine with him at 10. Although I still would have preferred Bush or Haskins. I believe Fant has a chance to be as good or maybe better pro than Hockenson - so I’ve become much less disappointed with last night’s outcome. Getting Fant and the chance to do something with 52 just may have been the better outcome as we have quite a few holes to fill.

So it’s on to day two and 3 picks to look forward to!

I don't think Fangio looked real happy at the news conference with Elway.

I'm hoping - one of may faves from the Pac12 - gets a nod from the Broncos - at the appropriate time - Ben Burr-Kirven. A very fast - and instinctive ILB.
