Rivers vs Dalton
...
Rivers of course, but Dalton is sufficient for a home game against an above average team that performs similarly to our own.

Hill/Bernard vs Woodhead/Gordon
...
We win this one.

Green/Jones/Sanu vs Allen/Johnson/Floyd/Jones
...
I think we win this one

Eifert vs Ladarius Green
...
This may actually be a toss up. Green has performed well when he doesn't have to share time with other SD TEs. Eifert has done well when he can stay healthy, although we see him drop plenty of passes.

Defense
...
SD has ageing lbs, they exchanged CBs, and Pass Rush is a problem. believe it or not, advantage Bengals here.

NFL odds: Bengals 3.5
(this is basically saying that they are equal in talent, as home field advantage generally yields 2-3.5 points. Bengals with points may actually be a decent bet. just not one I'm crazy enough to make, remember who our coach is)

I'm so sick of hearing about Philip Rivers. He's the Tony Romo of the AFC

We should win this game.

Then again, we should have won against them in the playoffs two seasons ago and they beat the piss out of us. So I guess it makes it a tossup?

Danny Woodhead is what Rex Burkhead should be in our offense.

Hey, they both have head in their name.

Look I think the Bengals deserve to be favorites, but this analysis is way off.

With regards to aging LBs, our starters are Attaochu (22), Te'o (24), Ingram (26), and Butler (26). Emanuel, a rookie, may start for Attaochu after getting a sack and INT in his first NFL game last week, and 2 tackles for loss. This is one of the youngest LB groups in the league, if not the youngest.

Agreed that Green is the best receiver on the field. Not quite Calvin Johnson good. The same Megatron that had two catches last week. Stafford had a 30 QB rating when targeting CJ and Tate. SD has one of the best secondaries in the NFL.

Look Cincy has a solid team. Wouldn't surprise me at all to see them win. But they aren't playing the Raiders this week.

Hope it's a good game with no injuries.

Hard to predict who will win.

The only certainty of Sunday is that Rivers will annoy everyone that doesn't root for SD.

Just saw that their starting guard is out 4+ weeks for SD, and they will be using a swing G/T to replace him. I believe it is the guard that Atkins will line up over. I look for him to have a good day.

SD has a good secondary, but the Bengals can run the ball much better than Detroit can, and have more WR weapons with Eiffert now showing what he can do when healthy.

It will be close, because well...Bengals. But, they should move to 2-0 since this is at home.
