There were issues with the case where the NCAA made some very unwise decisions by granting immunity to Miss State players for testimony. It got pretty sleazy and Old Miss lawyers nailed the NCAA to the wall.on appeal, bowl ban upheld for 2018. Things are back to normal in recruiting now. There really is no reason to follow the rules.
Agreed, but then again it's Ole Miss. They're gonna suck with or without sanctions.on appeal, bowl ban upheld for 2018. Things are back to normal in recruiting now. There really is no reason to follow the rules.

The NCAA is its own worst enemy.
Also don't forget not all sanctions were lifted as they have already self imposed penalties and were under sanctions for the 2017 recruiting season. Basically they got an early release for the 2018 recruiting sanctions but the post season ban stayed in place.
They aren't getting off unscathed.
I agree with you.The issue was it became clear that Ole Miss wasn’t the only shady actor in that LBs recruitment. They backed off, because they had 0 interest in the domino effect
Lol they are better than you guys, even under sanctionsThey were dumb enough to fire Cutcliffe. They deserve to have misfortune heaped upon them until cowbells are banned in Davis Wade Stadium.

SAD!
Serious question, will Tennessee be bowl eligible this year?
Team 121 was 2017 (4-8, 0-8, a program low for UT). The trash can was tossed out with Lyle. Maybe you should stick to touch up painting the rosettes on Ohio Stadium.
