Well, done Treff - - Sam/Wil and I went back and forth on a deal involving Dak - but they were hellbent on getting a 1st in the deal.

It’ll probably end up pick 13-16. We've only done three of these rookie drafts, but it feels like having very good players available in the late second last year was unusual.

Will have to rely on (drumroll please) Derek Carr this week against his #1 fan @TREFF ... Who I believe traded him to me 2 years ago. Seems like poetic justice if Carr would have a career game.

Talent looked unusually deep this year; really good guys there until the early third. I don't know if it's always like that, but values seemed to drop off a cliff halfway through the second in this league in 2022 and 2021.

Well I got Cooper Kupp I. The third round most of the leagues I was in.. they're there, for sure. Depends on the class. But even in the deep ones, takes a lot of luck and/or a great eye...usually both, but more often luck I think

I was going to have to start Taysome Hill at QB. shot for Goff settled for Stafford.

I tinkered with a counter where you’d still get Goff.

But the waters got muddy quick. So I didn’t go ahead with it.

So Wil couldn't wait for me which is fine. LOL. In the Roughing the QB is for pussies division, with our big win over Fem last week, that puts us in the #1 seed spot at 9-3, but both of us have clinched a playoff birth and since no wild card team is even at 7-5, that means the winner of our division will be either the #1 seed or the #2 seed and the other one will be the #4 seed no matter what. Fuzzy is still in it at 6-6 and Sam and Wil have been eliminated from playoff contention. In the Land of Elite Quarterbacks division Treff has clinched it with an 8-4 record and a 90 point lead over Barilko who is 6-6 and is still alive. Face is 4-8, but because he has a high point total, he is not out of it yet. Harold has been eliminated. And then there's the debacle that is the Konami Code QB's division. Right now Monkey is leading it at 6-6 and has everybody in the league outpointed, so he's getting in as either the winner of the division or the #6 seed regardless. Smitty and Lefty are also 6-6 and either of them can win the division as well and TKO is 5-7 and certainly not out of it yet. A lot will be determined this week when Monkey plays Smitty and Lefty plays TKO. If the season ended right now:

#1 seed Bandit (9-3)
#2 seed Treff (8-4)
#3 seed Monkey (6-6)
#4 seed Femurov (9-3)
#5 seed Smitty (6-6 and most points of the 6-6 wild card teams with 1780)
#6 seed Lefty (6-6 and most points of all the teams not already qualified with 1753)
#7 seed Face (4-8 with 1705 points)
#8 seed TKO (5-7 with 1695 points)
#9 seed Barilko (6-6 with 1639 points)
#10 seed Fuzzy (6-6 with 1596 points)
#11 seed Harold (3-9 with 1594 points)
#12 seed Sam & Wil (4-8 with 1574 points)

So Barilko and Fuzzy would both need to end up as the #5 seed record wise to make the playoffs because they aren't going to be able to pull enough points to be the #6 seed. It's a pretty good year when with 2 games left only 2 teams have been eliminated from the playoff picture.
