Still takes a while to load, but it does work. Thinking about it. Leaning no. May want to see what happens in the draft before committing, though.
Monkey if it's any consolation - I sent one as well and got that exact response. .... but can't really blame a guy for using caution.

Values can change a lot during the draft. I just want to see what happens before I do anything.

makes sense, if you made it to this point in the off season might as well wait and see landing spots/which positions teams went after or disregarded during the draft and UFA signing period

I occasionally I like to go the opposite route..place that high stakes wager now, and then watch the draft like you just mortgaged your house on a Kentucky Derby TriFecta

you've been kinda quiet this off season on the trading front, based on your normal trade rates in our few dynasties

I'm thinking he's just been quiet based on the old 'I'm kind of happy with what I have'. ..... or maybe it's a 'let them come to me for a change'

It is not for a total lack of trying...I've been trying to make big deals, which most everyone is hesitant to pull the trigger on, or there's just nor a fit. And I have little to no interest on the smaller ones.

Like I could trade Julio, and AJ, and Lindsay in minor deals, but why? I'd rather hang on and hope they land on their feet somewhere that needs them, and trade them then, if they dont, well, i wasnt gonna get jack for em anyways. I'm looking to land the big fishes today :)

BTW, if anyone would care to make one of those aforementioned high stakes wagers, and then watch the Derby filled with adrenaline...then I would be willing to trade Julio, AJ, or Lindsay. But it's gotta be worth it. I'm not selling you a 5 dollar scratcher for 4 bucks , especially when you might win 25, I need some incentive, otherwise I'll scratch it off myself :)

I think a lot of the reason there's been less deals in all of my dynasty leagues this year is that this draft class just doesn't instill much confidence, so when you normally see a lot of 1st rounders being swapped, I just don't think they carry as much value this year. It's always that way to an extent, but even Breece Hall who has all of the hype at running back, every mock draft landing spot I've seen for him wouldn't exactly be awesome in the short term.

I'd say that's correct. Normally a top 3 pick would be a valued trade chip but this season the value has been dampen by lack of stand out talent in this draft at the top. Doesn't mean that there isn't a future stud or studs in the draft, could be some excel or at least exceed expectations. That as you said has led to lack of the normal trade offers being made and completed.

So a PM made me look at last years draft for me-
1.5 J. Chase
3.2 M. Parsons
4.7 Elijah Mitchell
5.5 Gerrid Doaks.

If only I hadn't dealt Mitchell to Harold in late May for a '22 #3...then had to deal a #1 to get him back for the stretch run...ughh

Early on, I did a number of deals to position for a rebuild between this yr and next. Perhaps I should have waited to make all those moves - but the guys I dealt I had last yr and it got me a middle of the pack finish (not good enough) - - so figured what the hell, I'll take my chances in striking some gold. .....

Chase at 5 is solid. I had the #3 pick in a dynasty last season and was targeting Chase with that pick until I traded it. He ended up going 4th and I thought that was a steal.

Thirded--

Landing spots could generate some buzz after the NFL draft, I'd love to be scrambling to get the new Falcons/Dolphins/Texans starting RB, or it could deflate it even more. i mean if any of those somewhat hyped RB's end up in Baltimore, of SF or NE, what a flick to the testicles that will be

What are these things you call a “1st rounder”?

Oh, those things I trade away every year in-season.

I hear the 4th is the place to be this year!
