It would be messed up if it comes out that he totally had nothing to do with the death of his apparent x-girl friend and her baby. It has already been proven that the infant wasn't his. Why didn't the Rams take him with the last pick in the 7th round? They didn't have anything to lose but a lot to gain if they had!

Surprised he would sign there, since he will have to compete for a position.

His agent had put it out there that Collins wouldn't sign if drafted on day 3, so the Rams would've had to call their bluff.

how would he have known what was going to happen? just a few days before the draft he finds out the Louisiana police want to talk to him about his ex-girlfriend's murder and he ask compassion from the NFL by allowing him to withdraw from the draft and then re-enter the 2016 draft and the NFL said No, knowing that the news would destroy his chances of being drafted in the 1st 2 rounds. then they tell him if he isn't drafted then he can't enter the 2016 NFL draft so he plays hardball by telling the league if i'm drafted in the later rounds i will not sign. he becomes just another UDFA who can sign with whomever he wants

Just not understanding why we took the chance on Michael Sam and not L Col. We had a need at that position big time and that need would have filled and filled with a first round potential pick in round 7. Dallas got a steal and for nothing!

Like I said, his agent threatened not to sign with any team that drafted him on day 3.

After last year with Sam, did you think the Rams were going to go to that box again. Late round flyer by any team would have been interesting but none did. Sounds like the Rams did the right thing. The fact that he signs with the Cowboys is just the Cowboys luck.

If a team would have signed him in the later rounds he could have refused to sign with them and enter the draft next year I believe under the new cba
