Just read that most of the 1st half had the entire stadium doing WTF as Urban oredered that there would be no tackling if starters were out there. Half the game resembled a two hand touch expo.

Anyone who paid scalpers above $5 to see that must feel utterly ripped off.
I don't get the point of not hitting starters. How can you practice football without actually playing football?

Hi there. It didn't bother me. I just watched it on BTN, wasn't there. It was just great to see them out there running some plays.
Half-time was really fun to watch. Good lordy, Cardale kicked everyone's arse in the throwing competition. He threw it flat-footed, didn't even try.

Just loved to watch the whole show. Lots of fun.

I hear you. Watching some of the ASU spring game right now and it's nice to see cfb being played, even if the tackling is light.
Huskies game is next weeek Sat and plan on going.

I was going to ask you when Washington's was but didn't want ot bother you.

I love everything Washington. I lived in the Tri-Cities area for 6 years. I'd move back in a split second but I just can't bring myself to leave my 23 yr old daughter behind in Ohio. I just can't. I won't say I'll never move back to Washington but just not now.

Did you see the hit that happened in the Mississippi State spring game? That's why you don't hit starters in the spring.

Anyone who came expecting the intensity of a regular season game is not very smart.

The spring game at Ohio State isn't as much about football as it is the experience. It gives folks who can't afford $80-$120 per seat to take the kids and experience the atmosphere of the stadium. It's a party. I used to take my boys there but haven't been in years (they are grown and gone now).

It's a practice. It isn't time to let guys try to end other guys' careers. I've heard a lot of post-spring pressers and every coach has pretty much the same thing - - - it's our goal not to have any significant injuries. Mission accomplished.

wtf you talking about? They are doing renovations so the whole stadium isn't open.

So it's like when the Oakland A's/Raiders call a game a sell out, but only because they have the upper deck covered up?

I'm surprised 82K showed up to watch "grab ass". GTFOH.....

I understand your jealousy of Ohio State. After all Texas is terrible. Don't be upset just because Buckeye fans support their team & Longhorn fans don't.

We didn't show off our 2 year, 2 million dollar DC's 3-4. That was a little disappointing for people who didn't get the memo that he wouldn't be showing ANYTHING on film.
