So it appears Mr. Belichik had banned Malcom Butler for a few days for being late to OTAs. He was late because of a canceled flight. Normally you would say that's just Bill being Bill but OTA's are strictly voluntary for the players as part of the CBA. He is taking JERK to a new level and will receive a severe rap across the knuckles for this one. I bet they end up losing a mid to late round draft pick.

I would think part of this is a psychological ploy for Bill to knock Malcom down a peg or two after his super bowl winning interception. It is not acceptable for anyone on that team other than Brady to consider themselves as a good player that brings value.

I don't know about the rule on banning a guy from OTA's (why can't you?), but I like it. This kid is a prime example of someone that can come in with too big a head too soon and with their shitty CB situation they are going to need him.

BB is THE master of psychological motivation. Don't you know this by now? He's earned a free lifetime pass from Pats' fans. He knows what he is doing. Everyone should be as qualified to do their job as Belichick is to do his.

I never said suspend him but I do think they could lose a draft pick.

I guess the philosophy in Foxboro is Beatings will continue until morale improves

Surely millionaires can make it to work on time. It isn't tolerated in the military to report for duty on time, and they are paid far, far less.
