a DUI while WALKING? How in the hell is that possible? Or do you mean he got the DUI for getting into his vehicle and starting it up? Something seems odd with this scenario.
His car was in the parking lot. He had drove drunk to the bar.
So they arrested him for something they did not see him do or stop him for? How does that work exactly?
Someone called the cops on him on the way to the bar. In court the prosecutor told the court that there was no proof that he was drinking in the Bowling Alley (because they never asked).[/Q
Maybe I am in denial but this was week 5!?? We are at week 12 now? And the NY times broke this?
I didn't blow, wasn't asked too.
Nobody is saying it's made up. But it's not as if NYT hasn't printed stories before that were wrong or missing key information.
So what part is wrong? What key information are we missing?
My point is, it's very possible the NYT has exaggerated, as they have done before.
I don't know what happened or why TPD didn't do a DUI test. My guess is they are incompetent, as I said earlier I straight up told the cop I had been drinking and got a warning.
Also, I read that an employee at the Jiffy Lube across the street said a NYT reporter came by asking for surveillance footage to try and potentially identify an FSU football player in the hit and run.
The NYT may not even know if PJ Williams or Ronald Darby were even driving. Not saying that's the case, just saying it's possible.
