Now that the Rams have lost Ogletree for the season or at least a long period of time, who plays? Bates, Hager, Barron...... A heck of a lost.

Really is terrible...the guy had been a tackling machine for us this season. I think they mix it up between Bates and Barron.

Ayers to the weak side, Bates/Barron to strong side. Adding Dunbar could shake that up, as he's a better weak side fit.

Never a huge Dunbar fan but he is at least good for a big hit every game or two. I also like the fact that he should be able to plug right on in.

Ogletree was playing very well. The defense is going to take a hit but you figure thats why Fisher has made such an emphasis on defensive depth after the first part of last season.

Wasn't Dunbar supposedly a problem in the locker room? I thought that was one of the claims when he was cut. Not sure what to think about this...

I think the Dunbar signing is only due to the fact he knows the system and step in immediately and contribute. Bad break for Alec as he was off the a terrific start. Maybe we'll see him in 8 weeks at home against the Cardinals. The important thing is to get him healthy for 2016.

Very bad break, he was leading the NfL in tackle + assists total!

Agreed, especially if he really was the problem they claimed, seemed puzzling they'd add a guy who was a "problem" in the locker room, I don't care how well he knows the D...

I'm not sure if i want a practice squad LB in Bates or a 7th round pick in Hager filling in.. But then again i don't have a choice...smh. Wish we would have picked up some quality backup LB's.

I would hope that getting cut and nobody else picking him up would shake some sense into him. Maybe he does everything possible to take hold of this opportunity.

Well at least there is a chance of Alec Ogletree coming back at the end of the season.

I would think that Dunbar would be used as a back up to Bates. :noidea: He knows the system so I think it's a good move.
