Agree I think that offer could pull it offIn reports they wanted more than one player on defense. Brandon Schreff, D. Payne, a (presumed) healthy Kyle Allen and those picks is something that I could get behind.

WOW!! Someone on this board besides me who believes in creative trade value that doesn't gut your draft status or wrecks your team. BTW; this team could also offer another defensive player and not miss a beat! Hopefully, as you've stated, this offer "could pull it off" without the additional player.Agree I think that offer could pull it off
Maybe that other defensive player could be Collins take him off our hands lolWOW!! I now believe that the N.Y. Jets are out of the Watson business. They are going young with or without Darnold and using all of their draft assets to rebuild quickly. They will be in the trading business but trading down for more picks is what they will do. If they trade Darnold he'll go to Chicago, leaving ONLY Miami as a potential obstacle to this trade to D.C.
I'm leaning towards Miami giving Tua another year to do his thing. He's one year removed from recovering from surgery with OTA's, a full training camp, and time to hone his craft with the rest of the team will show them that "tanking for Tua," wasn't a mistake!
We will see if this franchise learned anything from the Cousins fiasco because that is exactly what happened with him. Every tag just drove the eventual price up long term. This makes his starting point 18 million per season for us in the long term.
Because of Brucifer ,but coach you missed the point so I will break it down for you . What is considered an overpay today is a reasonable one in a few yrsChrist Kirk Mony bags did not want to play here !!!! Og Shreff does he be fool if he made a deal before the Tag
Me too.In reports they wanted more than one player on defense. Brandon Schreff, D. Payne, a (presumed) healthy Kyle Allen and those picks is something that I could get behind.
No RG is worth $18m for a season. Really hope a LTD is worked out and this doesn't turn out to be another cousins situation. You aren’t paying 18 mil for “ just a guard “ you are paying for an all pro OG who is trending toward the HOF
We have 140 mil in cap space for 22. Every team will get some kind of windfall from the TV deals .maybe its a tag and trade. 18m is crazy for an og. hopefully a long term deal is reached.
Thats WR production pay (68 rec, 1,000, 10 td's) from the likes of Gollodaymaybe its a tag and trade. 18m is crazy for an og. hopefully a long term deal is reached.
Welp since the CBA doesn’t differentiate between OG and OT then that’s the market. And wage scales will change next season . So maybe ,just maybe ,they want security for another season and see if they have a replacement ready to take overThats WR production pay (68 rec, 1,000, 10 td's) from the likes of Golloday
