I posted that last night.....in a different thread.....

It could be a clean sweep if Detroit loses vs Daniels,I don't see it happening, but could.

Darnold I kinda wanted to believe in him becoming this qb he was drafted high for,but he is not it.

And looks to me Love is a fraud also.
As banged up as Detroit is currenttly, it would not surprise me.

I think Daniels matches up well vs their def,but I thought Darnold would have to.
But Aaron Glenn's def came to play and I believe he will have them ready again......
And I don't see Washington's run def stopping Gibbs,or even DM if he is healthy enough to play......it's a bottom 3 vs the run.

I really would like to see Washington, but not be hinging my hopes on it....

Everything you wanted to know about the Bears HC search and other stuff, but were afraid to ask:

Some of the bullet points are obsolete, ie one item has Ian Cunningham heading for a 2nd interview with the Titans for the GM, job, with another one stating the Titans have hired Mike Borgonzi as their GM, so Cunninghan will stay put.

Gonna go out on a teeny tiny limb by saying I think Johnson remains the Bears #1 target. It's just a matter of whether the Bears are his. Also been seeing a lot more news/interest regarding the Ravens OC Todd Monken.

Since the Bears are casting such a wide interview net, heard that they may also interview actors who played coaches:

Denzel Washington
Gene Hackman
Greg Kinnear
Matthew McConnaughey
Rick Moranis

Knowing the Bears, they'd hire Moranis.

Give me Coach Taylor!!! Clear eyes, full hearts, can’t lose! (Though I’m quite certain we can.).

Ben Johnson’s QB threw 4 picks, one for a score. His offense still put up 31 points.

Sign this fucking guy.

Detroit losing should mean we have a coaching hire by the end of this week…which is good because the focus can now be put to the draft and offseason and righting this ship.

Might not be to wild to say that if by the end of the week Poles hasn't inked Johnson to a contract, then he won't be the Bears next HC.

I think we still have to wait until next Monday before Detroit coaches can talk to other teams. I could be wrong though.

Well, if you're right about this and like you, I have no idea when he's officially able to talk, it might be a bit premature to say if he isn't inked by next week, then he won't be the Bears next HC. Guess we'll learn in the next couple of days about his status.

Coaches I’ll be happy with.
1. Ben Johnson
2. Todd Monkin
3. Kliff Kingsbury
4. Marcus Freeman

Coaches I can live with.
1. Pete Carroll
2. Mike McCarthy

The rest I would consider a failure.

Pretty much with you except two of them. Marcus Freeman, who I'd actually be fine with, has already stated he's not interested in any NFL job, at least not at the moment. Maybe he's just bluffing in order to garner a larger contract, but I'm assuming he's staying put at ND.

I'd also have no interest in Pete Carroll - not because he's a bad coach, shit he's probably the best and most qualified of the entire batch the Bears have interviewed to date. But to me he'd be more of a transitional HC as opposed to someone we'd at least hope would be there for a lengthy period. I'd be fine with the other four, likely in the order you have them ranked. But I'd like to also add Joe Brady to the mix as well.
