If you are going to move an All star talent, you want more than potential coming back. Wiggins doesn't make their offer better than anyone else's simply because some of you think he has potential.
As a GM, you're going to want something GUARANTEED. Either quality talent you can build around that's proven, or picks.
They have that two other young players that can add something, plus 1st round picks. Then if Wiggins is truly, great it makes the trade even better.
It isn't just some player, they said he was the next Lebron in high school, I don't know about that, but you have to rely on that when trading for young assets.
