Bc of one guy. It would be a great accomplishment if they won it all this year bc Miami didn't win it in their first year. I expect them to contend for a title, but winning it is a different story. Deep down I don't think anyone expects a title in year one, they might want it to happen but this team is still young and haven't played one game together.

You would think you would let them play first, then you can talk. They haven't won anything and to win in the first year would be a surprise and a great accomplishment. They have great potential, but c'mon man thr Cavs are still the Cavs, nothing to brag about.

Believe it or not, both LTCF and Russ are pretty sharp when it comes to sports.

As long as:

A. They are not discussing the Cavs.

B. Don't get called on the carpet for some dumb ass comment * usually LTCF*.

You seem very level headed.

Sadly, some * maybe not here because you have been here longer * will lump you into the same barrel.

Good luck for the Season.

I see the ECF as your bottom:suds:.

I don't know, those guys are great friends (especially Wade and LeBron). I'm sure there's some disappointment at missed opportunity... but I really don't think there's any hard feelings or damaged relationship at all.

The way it turned out... all 3 took self-serving paths (not saying that it is the only motivation or even any). Wade and Bosh were clearly willing to sacrifice again, but because James chose a different path... they all went down the most self-serving paths.

I disagree. Wade and Bosh opted out to take less so that Lebron could take a max and to hopefully be able to add some bench help.

When Lebron left, Wade still took less and Bosh was able to get a max deal because Lebron leaving freed up the money to do that and still add some quality pieces.

Lebron took the self-serving path. He made it pretty clear that he wasn't signing with anyone for anything less than a max deal. I don't criticize him for it. He's the best player in the game, has been for several years and has never been the highest paid player on his own team, let alone the league. But it's still self serving.

You could make a case for Bosh being self serving, but I'd disagree because he essentially waited until it was shown that the Heat could offer him a max deal and still get quality guys.

I don't see how Wade was self serving at all. He could have opted in and made $40million over the next 2 seasons. Instead, he opted out and re-signed for $30million. Not sure how leaving $10million on the table is self serving.

But Mecca, 95% of the stuff they talk about are the Cavs.

Actually. Wiggy been popping off at the mouth.

Don't worry if it happens I will only direct it at those 2. You and Gordon seem to be level headed fans which I can respect:suds:

I agree. I haven't always gotten along with those two posters, but they're miles ahead in quality compared to Russ and LTCF.

I'd like to say this is the exception, not the rule, because they are caught up in the excitement.

But, that would be a web of lies.

I'm hoping that changes when the Preseason starts because it's getting......old.

I have been around those guys on the other board for a few years.

Russ and I get along swimmingly.

I am used to his Kyrie the Great dissertations that he posts daily.

LTCF and I are a work in progress.

For whatever reason, he feels the need to take the SportsHoopla posters to task over perceived slights from his Fannation days.

I don't get that.

Any slight disagreements to his posts are met with piss and vinegar.

I used to think he was so defensive because of the constant persecution.

Now I think he's just mean :noidea:.
