People want to play with James IN SPITE of it being in Cleveland.
The is a reflection of James, not Cleveland.

I'm not saying Irving would have turned down the max, but I think he provably had good reason to think James was coming which made the decision a no brainer.

Really?

If Bosh would have gave a shit about Cleveland in 2010, James would have never left.

The only he has a name is bc he made friends with Bron and Wade. Bron would of just recruited some other guy. Nobody knew him in Toronto.

Yeah, I think he has the two confused .

Players don't want to play for the Clippers.

They want to play with Chris Paul.

Whatever works:nod:.

One thing is for sure, things can't get much better for Cavs fans.

I just hope when the Season starts, the Cavs don't take a colossal shit:L.

That's the thing about bragging and ridiculous expectations that my buddy Russ doesn't get.

Let them play a few games, build some chemistry before we declare them 60plus game winners.

Bosh was courted in the same capacity as all of the other top tier free agents (outside of Lebron, which was a circus) like Amare, Wade, etc. Bosh has been an all-star every year in the league since 2006. Looking back 4 years later, what other player during free agency was Lebron going to recruit to come to Cleveland?

Looking at the 7 years he was there, it's not like Cleveland was successful in that capacity. The reason why Cleveland looks good now is because Cleveland has somehow fallen on draft lottery luck in the last 4 years. Lebron didn't go back to Cleveland because he wanted to win solely for his home town. He saw it as an advantage as the roster has alot of upside with young talent. Going back to try to win for the hometown is just a nice narrative. It's hard for a team to fuck up 3 #1 picks in 4 years.

Take Durant off the Thunder and let me know what they look like.

Their are only a few that are capable of this and KD is one. But still take Westbrook out and you saw what happens. Not even Lebron can win it by himself and he almost did it.

Well of course he like the roster, everything else just added to it. Now his goal is to win Cleveland a championship.

Ok:lol:

Maybe just say YOU really aren't that familiar with him.

Made friends with Wade?

Maybe they were introduced at the draft where Bosh was picked AHEAD of Wade?

The mans been in 9 straight all star games, 5 representing the Raptors.
Pretty sure most people familiar with the NBA are very familiar with him.

Nobody paid attention to him in Canada, lets be real. Yes, they met at the drsft and then it followed at the Olympics. But no one gave a shit about him basically playing in the Canadian league. :laugh3:

His goal is to win as many championships as he can for himself. The main reason he chose Cleveland is because the NBA lotto balls have chosen Cleveland.

To James, wherever really never mattered.

He just turned it into to a nice, image repairing, money making scenario , to now attempt it in Cleveland.

This is basically true. Bosh or Wade didn't want to come to Cleveland, 4 years ago.

But they did get Jamison and an old man Shaq. :laugh3:

I think Kyrie would of signed, but it only added to it with Lebron.

Wonder if Lebron wins Cleveland a championship or two, players will want to come to Cleveland or at least consider it?

That's a fair point, but put LeBron on any team that made the playoffs in the West, and they are the favorite to win it all. Clippers, Warriors, Mavs, Rockets, doesn't matter who

And NOBODY will once he leaves.
The Cavs chance to ever be relevant in the NBA has truthfully only been accomplished because of the draft lotto.

It brought James there in the first place, then because they were so horrible once he bolted, it worked in their favor to lure him back.

Easily.
Hell, the Cavs are favored now (shouldn't be) and as of today ( except for his addition), their roster in much worse then the one they had which didn't even make the playoffs last year.

Yup. I've never liked Lebron but I'm starting to hate him even more from taking Love now
