I disagree. If they get Allen and Miller, I think James would go there. And I've been a firm believer he wouldn't go there but he's close to both guys.

They might, but NO WAY either Allen or Miller would sign BEFORE James commits.

Clearing cap space means everything. They couldn't sign Lebron unless they did just that. And I don't think they do it if they didn't think they were seriously in the running.

Not really. They are clearing necessary space. That in and of itself doesn't mean ANYTHING in regards to Lebron. Just because you have the space doesn't mean he's coming.

From what I'm seeing, they haven't even TALKED to him directly......which is more telling to me than anything they've done so far.

They need to make a MOVE. Not clear cap space. Not pursue old man Ray Allen. They need to bring in another key piece. THAT would signify to me there's something there.

The thing that os sketchy is, why is Cleveland pursuing Ray Allen if Lebron isn't coming. Ray has said many times he WANTS to play with Lebron.

I was at a Miller charity event last summer, standing right next to him, when he was creating a "needing back surgery" story because he DID NOT want Cavs to claim him off amnesty waivers.

Would playing with James make him want to move his family and live there?
I HIGHLY doubt it.

The Cavs with Lebron is a lot more appealing than the Cavs without Lebron.

In fairness, he's been injury prone ever since getting to the Nets.

He has but he had chances to get them cleaned out but HE chose not to...

Without the cap space though, how do they sign Lebron? Obviously just because they have the cap space doesn't mean he's coming, but without the cap space it's guaranteed he's not coming (excluding a S&T).

Cleveland probably feels that they have some of the key pieces in place already with Irving and their other youngsters.

They haven't even had a meeting with Lebron. Rich Paul his agent is merely filtering this through. IMO, you don't start clearing space until you've talked to Lebron and he says "Yes, I'm ready to come back to Cleveland. Clear space for me.".

If Cavs don't land LBJ now he would of screwed his home town 2 times now. WOW Cleveland will hate him again. This would be a dick move. They are making these moves LBJ had to tell them something. He might be having this meeting with Miami to be a man and tell them to their face that he needs to go back home.

Pipe dream. Don't see James Jones a Miami boy who lives in Miami and played at the U going to Cleveland. Miller - who knows and Allen might but it depends on James.
