And apparently Gunther Stark is also the name of a relatively famous Nazi U-boat sailor.

Charolette finisher is called Natural Selection....

Now where have I heard that before...

Because Vince thinks he can do whatever he wants and is going to keep the same viewers every week no matter what trash they put out there.

I'm a very loyal person. If given a choice of the 2 Promotions, It would be WWE hands down because of that.

Just the Stupid shit that happens sometimes tests it very much so.

I gave up on WWE a long time ago. It was NXT with HHH running it that got me back to watching wrestling (when the Revival was there having great matches). With Vince running that as well, I am done with them.

I’ve always enjoyed the sport aspect of it. Watching the Revival wrestle teams like American Alpha, DIY and AoP were really fun to watch and the Takeovers were usually really good as well.
I haven’t watched the main roster stuff since summer of 2008. I would’ve quit a year or so earlier but it was hard to break the habit.
The Fiend was a good gimmick but heard that the matches were usually awful.

News today that WWE abandoned the Gunther Stark trademark.

Seems like they still may just call him Gunther but at least they dropped the Nazi connection. What a stupid company. A 10 second Google search would solve so much

WWE is on one of their kicks where they want to own everything about the character. Since Walter has wrestled as Walter elsewhere, they'd have to work out a copyright deal with him (similar to how they did with AJ Styles and Adam Cole) to where WWE gets the rights only for the time the wrestler is with WWE and the wrestler is free to use the name elsewhere. By changing the name, they can own everything without having to do deals with each individual. They get on this shit from time to time.
