What measurable is he lacking?.......Tayvon Austin ran the same forty time and is 5'8/175 pounds.....and goes 9th overall......meanwhile Swope....who is taller and bigger....who played in the "best conference in the land".......beat Alabama's early round DBs......was the leading receiver for the Heisman Trophy winner gets ignored......doesn't make much sense.

I'm going to guess that they are looking for more than a good 40 time, big and tall, and I played in the best conference. Sounds crazy, I know, but there may be other measurables that they find more desirable. :noidea:

Watch this CB from UCONN be the greatest DB who ever lived.

They didn't even blink when his name was called. LOL

swope might be as fast as austin in straight line speed but his agility and post-cut acceleration are nowhere close

Rex Ryan just said "Fuck the Cards, how dare they take away another sideshow attraction from my team! First the chargers fuck me over with Te'o, now the Cards! Don't they know I am working on making the greatest Hard Knocks season ever! Where are my wife's feet? I need to do some licking".

he'll have the best career out of anyone in this class

He will still be the 3rd string runningback.

Robert Turbin was drafted in the 4th round last year and looked really good while he was on the field so it is highly unlikely he even gets the 2nd string gig.

Once Marshawn Lynch is gone it is pretty much assumed Robert Turbin is his replacement, and will make a good one at that. So I really don't see where Christine Michael fits in. Even if by some freak occurrence, he did become the starting running back, his injury concerns are quite extensive.

The Seahawks have found some really good players in the later rounds the past few years but their first selections the past two years have been very bad, and I'm not sure that a 3rd string runningback really makes them any better now or in the next 3 years.

Tyrann Mathieu I think could make a solid nickel CB and return man but I honestly cannot see him matching up against some of the bigger WRs in the NFL.

It's a solid pick in the 3rd round but there is a lot more hype around him than he deserves.

God Tyrann Mathieu ends every sentence with "mayne". He's said it at least 10 times in this interview.

That's not my point. My point is that his 40 time is just one measurable.

Marquise Goodwin had a better 40. Da'Rick Rogers had a slower 40, but his vert, shuttle, and 3 cone times were better. There are a lot of things that factor into WR rankings other than college production and 40 times.

I know. I was struggling with this very thing.

It comes down to I dislike McShay a whole lot more than BB.
