Daniel Kilgore - G - 49ers Daniel Kilgore is expected to compete for the 49ers' starting right guard job this season.
The Niners allowed veteran Adam Snyder to bolt for the division-rival Cardinals, leaving a hole at right guard. They traded up in the fifth round to get Kilgore last April. It's an area of need for the Niners.

He was definitely a weakness but I also think he was serviceable though.

Kilgore looked good in the preseason, but I thought it was a little concerning that they would suit up Chilo instead of him, especially after Chilo would continue to look like absolute dog shit.

Snyder's biggest strength was as a stabilizing influence on Davis. The difference in Davis' play with Snyder there vs. with Rachal there was night and day. Davis still had his share of struggles, but he and Rachal together couldn't pick up a stunt to save their lives.

That's big money for a guy who has never succeeded as a starting WR. He was effectively the 4th option in Dallas, granted Austin and Bryant were dealing with some injuries. I don't like him at all as a #1 right now.

C.J. Mosley - DL - Jaguars

Jaguars re-signed DT C.J. Mosley to three-year, $7.5 million contract.
The deal includes $2 million guaranteed, and has incentives that could push its total value to $10 million. Mosley made just three starts and played 323 snaps last season, but was one of the top run stuffers for the league's ninth-ranked run defense.
