I mean after that I could see Seattle going 6-10... we may be drafting in the range to take a QB...

IMO it should be QB/OL/DL... BPA 1-2-3. And frankly you could just go QB/OL/OL. I dunno if Williams will stay around, Bradford needs to seriously be benched - we're not even running the fuckin' ball so what's the point of him being on the field? Lucas is done, he's never playing again IMO. He's Cam Young 2.0 which is too bad because he's very talented, just injury. Tomlinson is too old... The whole OL outside of Cross and Williams (but only 1 year, he may walk) needs to be addressed.

Haynes may be the answer, but gotta plug him in and let him go at it. And this rotation shit is driving me nuts. We have to be the only team in the NFL that did it last year and are doing it this year. What the actual fuck? Pick a guy and fuckin' go with it.

If we think Howell is the answer fine. Go OL/OL/DL or another ILB first 3 picks.

Yeah, we have to put Haynes in and let him sink or swim. Either he develops or he doesn't but he will never reach his potential in a rotational role. And we will waste how much time not knowing what he's capable of. And I am really sick of them marching Tomlinson out there every game. Put a 42 year old Jason Peters out there at left guard for all I care. What the fuck does it matter at this point.

Yikes at drafting a QB this year, feels like a very weak class

yeah this is definitely not the year to look for a QB its probably why we traded for Sam Howell as a stop gap option until the following years draft.

Agreed it's a weaker QB class. Could kind of mirror what happened in 2022.

If that's the case and we go with Howell or Geno plays out... then I think we go OL/OL/DL in any order. We gotta fix the lines. I guess some depends on what happens with Dodson/Baker as well. Might as well ditch Fant/Nwosu/Jones. One is not being utilized, one can't stay healthy, and one has been a nonfactor.

OL sure, need some interior studs there and depth at the tackles positions. DL is likely taking a back seat though, as the team has invested heavily in it with paying Williams and using a first on a DT with Murray.

Yah, was thinking someone maybe a bit later... Cam Young just can't find the field, at all. Time to move on from him as well. Need a replacement for him. Just a big run stuffer maybe in the mid-later rounds.

This draft class isn't the strongest at QB, but too early to write it off. The thing is the years that have a stud or two or 3 at QB you have to have a top 3 pick and I don't see the Seahawks being that bad in the near future (never know I guess) and I don't see Schneider willing to pay the toll to move up that high. I don't have any idea what the plan is to obtain a QB of the future, sure hope it isn't counting on Howell to be that guy. If I was to guess the plan is to draft a QB round 3 and try to sell him as the next steal of deal at QB like Wilson was. Not a fan of that idea at all, but getting lucky with Wilson has planted the seed that it's a viable path but it's very much against the odds.

I would like to see us trade DK for a high draft pick after the season... Utilize that pick to look into a possible QB and/or look into replacing DK with a WR in the 1st/2nd round... I do not want to Pay DK a 40+ a year contract... WR's don't win you championships...

If we moved on from DK, I would think it's necessary to look into OL, WR and ILB in the first few rounds... Like someone mentioned we've invested heavily into our DL/DB's over the past few years so looking at other positions is important...

As of now we have a 1, 2, 3, 4. 6, 6, 7... Trading DK would net us a high round pick as well... Not exactly sure what the market would bear for DK...

Next year, I hope we extend C. Cross, B. Mafe and possibly Riq Woolen... If we extend those 3, I dont' want to extend Geno or DK... I think it's more important to lock up those 3 over Geno/DK... Let's roll with Howell next season if necessary... Extending Geno with a 40+ mil deal isn't a smart decision by the team...

I like it, although I'm a little hesitant to trade Metcalf because while there are tons of WRs coming out of college it's hard to hit on someone like Metcalf. Would need a high return for him. Should be able to do that given he's still young with many years as a #1 ahead of him. I agree about paying out 40 + million for Geno at a advance age.

Im on board trading DK, i love what he brings but we are in the WR golden age and we need the draft capital a trade can provide.
Best case someone gives us two 1s but its probably going to be a 1 and a 3

He'll get two 2nds IMO. I highly doubt we're getting a 1st let alone two 1sts for DK. He's going to want a big extension along with it (final year of contract is 2025), has on field issues with penalties (personal fouls, holding, OPI), fumbles (10 since he came into the league), and gets mopey/down if he's not getting the ball or screws up.

In addition, wide receivers are pouring out of College and the NCAA has adapted to a passing league just like the NFL and you're seeing more pro style offenses being put in place.

Also there was a HUGE run on WRs last draft.. I mean a LOT drafted. I could see maybe Denver or New England targeting one? That's kind of about it though... and Kraft is very frugal with trading for players. And after we fleeced Denver they might be done with us lol.

Indy or the titans could be good trade partners for DK

2025 is VERY heavy on OT/GUARD in the projected 1st round. DE/DT are up there as well. I know we just spent a mid 1st on Murphy, but IMO we should be targeting those positions (OL/DL). If we trade DK for a 2025 2nd, 2026 2nd to the Titans, the 2nd round pick should be high.

IMO we need a guard and right tackle in the 2nd or 3rd and we need another DT/DE. Hankins is old, Reed is old, and Jones IMO is going to be cut after this year. Haynes needs to start - bench Bradford. I think Haynes can be a serviceable RG but you gotta figure out what to replace Tomlinson with.

I see linebacker as a BIG weakness on this team. These guys are not filling the hole they are late to react and only one of them seems to have the right make-up to cover sideline to sideline and he is a rookie. Your two middle linebackers in a 3-4 need to be fast, quick reacting players. There are some good Linebackers ( OLB and ILB ) in this coming draft that the Hawks can grab late in the 1st ( Trade back/Trade up ) or early 2nd if lucky.

Good linebackers can fix a lot of evil in the running game defense. I see a lot of uncovered Seahawks Linebackers just not making plays. What i mean by uncovered is they are not being harrassed to much by blockers because they have to keep guys in to account for the Hawks DL and DE's This in turn cuts down the number of plays made by the DL and DE's leaving Linebackers to fill and make plays ( Like they are supposed to ) there is a reason Linebackers typically lead the league in tackles every year lol.

Linebackers are SO VERY crucial to a successfull defense.

Also a nice SS that is 6-2+ 220+ that can come up to the line and play like a linebacker but can handle TE's and WR's. There are some of those in this draft also. S Nick Emmanwori would be a cool fit in that role. 6-3 220 and great speed at around 4.4.

Still don't see a QB i like, it's been pretty dry there lately.
