I think the Bears were certan SF was going to trade the pick to a team that was going to pick Trabiski.

I gotta believe youre right.....No way do they trade up one spot to take MT unless SF came to them and said someone was wanting him.

There is a part of me that likes the idea of them doing what needed to be done to get the guy they want(see Aaron Donald for the antithesis of this mentality), and then there is a part that says it's desperate.

Everything I've heard is that Adams is a lock to be an all pro. This seems like a reach. I don't understand a reach in your 3rd draft. This guy(most likely) won't pan out for another 3 years. Do Fox and Pace have 3 years if Glennon and Co. don't produce? I don't get this pick.

I don`t think he will start day 1...........Not even sure he will start week 8 or any game this season either.........I just don`t understand why we signed Glennon for 3 years when we drafted a qb right out of the gate.......Sure hope Pace knows what hes doing.

Don't worry about the 3 years for Glennon. It's basically a one year deal- almost all the money is paid after this year. Let's see what the rest of the draft has. I'm just laughing that 1-2-3 months ago everyone was saying they needed to draft a QB in first round. (except me) and now that they have- they don't like it? Ha.
My new GUY! Need to find a Trubisky on a unicorn meme, because I have a feeling he will get DESTROYED by fans very early. Ha... Love it. Everyone better hope that Glennon plays well and Trubby? sits for awhile.

Fox was a Pace HC man... That was made clear at the time.

EDIT: I suppose it's possible Pace was pressured to go with an experienced guy like Fox after the Trestman ordeal. However, there's no reason to believe he didn't want Fox, outside of baseless speculation.

Trubisky plays in November at the EARLIEST, and that's only if Glennon is bad. If Glennon has the team competing, at all. Trubisky won't play until the last few games of the season, and if they're actually somehow still playing meaningful football then. He may not play a snap this year.

This was clearly the plan all along. I like it, as far as that aspect goes. I like young QB's sitting for a year. Especially guys who are more or less projects, like Trub.
