Phillies erupting against the Sawx. Fuck the naysayers-this team is ready to return to the ranks of the offensive powerhouses in the NL.

Cesar Hernandez continues to impress me. Flied down the first base line to beat out a groundball, and then made a great play at second on that ball that Grady Sizemore hit.

Is Shane Victorino now a permanent right handed hitter? I know he dropped hitting left handed temporarily because of an injury, but he's still hitting right handed against righties this year. The stats always favored him against lefties and towards the end of his career in Philly I thought he should have given up switch hitting.

"I just threw a fastball off the inner-third of the plate that Johnny Gomes yanked 400 feet foul. Hmmm, let me throw that exact same pitch, but this time a little further in on the plate so there's no way he hits it foul."- Phillipe Aumont

Yeah I think I read somewhere that he was going to try hitting right handed for a whole season. If you look at the couple hundred ABs he does have as a RH vs RHP his stats are almost exactly the same as LH vs RHP. Plus in Fenway batting righty all the time you get more chances to pull the ball over the Green Monster
