Romo drove me nuts last night running the play clock to 1 every play. It's almost like KR knows exactly how long one second really is. He is at the line telling people what to with 4 on the clock. I screamed time out 10 times at least but he always got it off.

The running game and ball control- it works if you don't turn it over but it seems like we are constantly having to make a play on third down. Personally I missed the big sledge hammer back last night.

With all that ball control and third down conversions, wasn't it amazing to watch them flip the switch and go up tempo.

Thought Randle looked Ok. He scares me the way he carries the ball through traffic. He got popped more than a few times last night.

Now I'm missing D Harris

I kept thinking snapping the ball with 12 or so seconds occasionally would catch the Giants sleeping. He's gotta start changing when he snaps the ball, defenses see how close it is too, maybe doing an occasional hard count with 3 seconds left wold draw the D offsides

I agree, the boys didn't panic and Tony was near perfect on that last minute TD drive.

Totally agree. I was thinking WTF? the whole time. It's almost like he was releasing his inner Peyton Manning.
I ain't too happy this morning with that performance, even though they won. You guys realize he never threw a ball past 15 yards or so, until the last drive? Why not? The Giants played at the line of scrimmage all night because of that. This dink and dunk crap was ridiculous.
Oh well, at least they won

Nor did they show any urgency or emotion. I was not impressed . The ONLY reason they won was because the Giants are idiots for throwing the ball at the end. Lets be real here. Garrett had the deer in the headlights look again.

A win is a win. The Cowboys offense scored when it needed to and Tony was cool under pressure.

If you complain this much after a win you must be brutal after a loss.

As far as complaining after a loss, well, I think we all do that. But I expected a 20 point win with all the press and S.B. quotes coming out of Big D.
I don't know, I'm just frustrated.
That offense looked incapable of putting up big numbers, which they are gonna have to do against Philly and Green Bay, if they expect the to go to the S.B.
We shouldn't have won that game and going forward they have to do better.

Yup, that's on me, but are you happy with what you saw last night?
Be honest.
Take away the turnovers yes, I'm happy. If no turnovers you just might have your 20 point win.

While that's true, you can't. They happened. It's part of the teams makeup now.
Remember the first game last year? against S.F.? Same thing. Murray turned it over, I think Romo threw a pick , and BOOM! we're down 21-6 or some crap. Same thing last night, but we were luck because the Gints had a brain freeze with 1.45 left on the clock.
Btw I remember you telling me a coupla days ago there was no way Dallas wins by 20. You said the Giants had a good team, but I didn't see it last night. The Giants took advantage of the turnovers, but also took advantage of a team that was going thru the motions for 3 1/2 quarters.

It's week one man, calm down. Remember how bad the boys looked week one last season? Remember how the season turned out? They will get the turnovers cleaned up, and that was the only reason this wasn't a blowout win.

week one many times is a roller-coaster. Much work to be done but I'm pretty darn happy with the defense and love the continued effort. Thought the oline was as advertised. Turnovers remain the kiss of death for most team and I thought overcoming 3-0 was pretty special.

week to week league and happy to be 1-0

You need to be careful going down to 1 second even if you get it off (we really didn't a few times) because it causes confusion, allows the D to time the snap better and prevents any more changes to the play or protection because there just isn't any time. plus, when you have guys like Street and Lucky in the game you need to be careful making last second changes and confusing them.
