I know and truly appreciate how truly difficult it is to be moderator and fan of this forum. I was banned on another forum for offering my opinion on the old ESPN site and didn't want it to happen again.

There is a huge thread on KFFL's Non-Sports section. Apparently Hammer Down is very conservative and bans posters who do not agree with him. I dipped my toes in the water there and found words like "faggot" and turned the page immediately

Back to football bitching I watched a lot of football this week. Between those games and the Redskins' late season game plans I've seen enough bubble screeens and 7 yard patterns to last a lifetime. That's all football is these days, 100 short passes a game. F that.

Those pass plays have replaced the running game. They are basically runs. I guess its a natural evolution to the development of the strong and fast edge rushers. Just get the ball to a playmaker outside the OLB/DE and let them pick up 4-8 yds a clip. Defenses will eventually adjust and then the offenses will adjust back to deeper passes.

Oh, if you are talking specifically the Skins, that's because our QB can only read one route. He stays with that route way too long and then his next decision is to dump it off (sometimes). After 3 years, he still has no ability to pre read the defense. Wonder if he ever will..........

So I ask this question honestly. Were Morgan and Long bad picks or is there an issue with the development of these players? Think of the 4 or 5 OL we have drafted over the last 5 years. Not one has made the starting lineup. Well, I guess Compton finally did, but that was due more to Polombus' poor play than Compton being ready.
