Odd stats of the first round

As you all probably know, every game in the Boston-Washington series was won by one goal and something insane like 99% of the total hockey was played with no more than a 1 goal differential.

Holy shit that's interesting. Wasn't this the first time every game was decided by one goal?

Yes, only series in Stanley Cup history where every game was decided by one goal. I think the Caps were the only team that ever led by 2 goals and the Bruins tied that one back up in less than 10 minutes. Insane amounts of tension watching those games.
