Observations.

Bases loaded and no outs with Howard at bat. The 1st pitch is a fastball right down the middle. Howard takes a strike. Typical Howard at bat. The opposing teams have no fear of this guy in clutch situations. Howard proceeds to strike out. Rosenbomb could not locate a pitch and the balls went sailing. He was left in too long. Diekman was nervous about being in a save situation so I will give him a pass. But he should have been pulled before the big blow! Asche is struggling big time. On the bright side,the Phillies got back in the game with a big rally. They scored enough runs to win. Last but not least, why can't relievers pitch 3 or 4 nights in a row. They could at least pitch to a few batters to help out. Where is Brad Lidge when you need him?
