Buck, Hefner and the BP let another winnable game slip away.
Be that as it may....the offense has to put up more than just 2 runs regardless.
Mets lose 3-2.

Up Next...

The Mets will begin a three-game series at AL Central-leading Minnesota on Friday, with Kodai Senga (10-7, 3.07 ERA) scheduled to face the Twins' Dallas Keuchel (1-1, 5.07).

Mets avoid the sweep...beating the Twins 2-0, on DJ Stewart's clutch 2 run double in the 9th.

Mauricio just crushed his first major league homer.
I watched it as it happened. He absolutely launched it.
He's gonna be a real good ball player
. And so far out of the 4 "baby mets"...I really like him and Alvarez much more than I do Baty & Vientos....although "the jury (more or less) is still out" on all of them.

Hi Tai Chi and formerly Yoga Surfing, As a fellow Mets fan , since 1978 for me, i want to take the time to thank you for continually posting the Met's lineups and any current news around the team I do wonder what keeps you motivated to do this service? Are you a SportsHoopla moderator or something like that, or just a devoted fan? Just curious I guess. Anyway keep up the good work:)

Hey...Thanks.
I too have been a long time Mets fan (since 1967). I've pretty much seen it all over the years with this franchise. I grew up back there in Queens and later in Westchester county, and after that in Southern Conn.
No I'm not a mod....lol. Following this team is just an annual hobby of mine. I like to catalogue the daily ongoings/games/scores etc throughout the season...and a little bit during the offseason. I also post at a few other Mets related sites...some of which I link in here before and after games.

After all....MLB is still America's pastime, right?

Ftr:...I'm also a big Knicks fan.

Thanks again...I appreciate the kind words.
