I had waffles with maple syrup for din din.

Sometimes there's nothin' better than breakfast or dinner. Had some of my World Famous Chili left over from our USC/UCLA party yesterday. So I grilled some hot dogs and we had chili dogs.:suds:

I noticed all off-season that none of the talking heads were willing to write him off. They'd talk about how bad the injuries were, how hard they are to come back from at his age, etc. But they always added the qualifier of: "But if there's ever been a guy who could do it, it has to be Kobe."

That's a testament to his competitive nature and conditioning. Just like MJ in that aspect.

Breyers blast Waffle cone ice cream for dessert. Chocolatey waffle cone pieces, caramel, and vanilla ice cream.

Replaced cookies and cream as my favorite ice cream.

I stated many times that Kobe's return was dependent on a number of factors and of course Kobe himself. Obviously everything worked out in his favor primarily because he took the year off and had nearly 18 months away from the court for the first time in his career. That amount of time did wonders for him and it paid dividends.

Yep, in fact, if memory serves, I even asked you about the time off helping those nagging injuries that he's been dragging around for years to finally heal and if that could help re: his recovery from the last 2 and you said that it could. Looks like you were correct.:suds:

Not sure why. But I miss the days when they had tip off at the start of each quarter.
