Yeah, I noticed an Idaho Raider fan and a Florida Raider fan when I was posting this season during a game. We got like 50-60 posts.

Kobe's playing under control tonight, I'm a little surprised actually.

Still amazed at Kobe's overall play (not his shooting %) this season. He looks good in general, at 36 and after 2 serious injuries. His conditioning is amazing.

I noticed all off-season that none of the talking heads were willing to write him off. They'd talk about how bad the injuries were, how hard they are to come back from at his age, etc. But they always added the qualifier of: "But if there's ever been a guy who could do it, it has to be Kobe."

Denver is 4 of 19 from the three stripe and Kobe just clanked one in a similar fashion.

It is always good to see Jaime Maggio at the half but she is not looking happy tonight. She is looking quite pissed. Perhaps it is because she has to work on Sunday night or maybe its the time of the month. Don't know on this one.

True. I was saying he was going to be a shell of his former self because of the severity of the injury that caused him to miss the rest of the regular season and playoffs against SA. Odds were stacked against him.

I'm so ashamed.

Your not alone. While I didn't predict that he's be a shell of himself, this was the first time I've ever had doubt about his ability to come back.

I stated many times that Kobe's return was dependent on a number of factors and of course Kobe himself. Obviously everything worked out in his favor primarily because he took the year off and had nearly 18 months away from the court for the first time in his career. That amount of time did wonders for him and it paid dividends.
